1.) Count how many days until the next holiday. Can you count by twos’s?
2.) Using the Tangram, try to make the quadrilateral using all 7 pieces. Mess it up….can you do it again?
3.) Using the Tangram, try manufacture a triangle with just 2 pieces. See if you can make a triangle with 3,4, or 5 pieces. Is there more than one solution? Draw pictures of your solutions.
4.) Using the Tangram, try manufacture a rectangle using 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 pieces.
5.) Make some distinct objects using all the Tangram pieces. Trace and color your popular one onto paper.
6.) Make a paper chain. Use distinct colors in a repeating pattern.
7.) Draw a pattern on paper. Copy it with Toothpicks onto the table.
8.) Using Toothpicks and a Calculator, press a whole and then lay the toothpicks on the table to look like the calculator numbers that are on display.
9.) whole Guess: One child chooses a whole between 1 and 20 and writes it down so only he/she can see. House member begins guessing the number. The first child says smaller, larger until the whole is chosen.
10.) Get a small handful of Beans and count them. Match them up by 2′s to see if the whole is odd or even.

With the acclaimed Up finishing its international issue circuit, focus is turning ever more toward Pixar’s next theatrical release, Toy Story 3. As details of the plot trickle out bit by bit, there are, as is always the case, naysayers who satisfaction in predicting the demise of the Pixar box office smash streak. Toy Story 3 will undoubtedly meet with a disproportionate share of this investment as it will be the third film in the extremely thriving Toy Story series, and only Pixar’s second sequel. Is there validity to these concerns?
Sequels are typically feared because, frankly, they have a bad track record. Few meet expectation, and they seldom conduce to the impel of the brand. The cause for such a trend may lie in the motive that the yield of most sequels have in common: financial gain. Many studios try plainly to milk a thriving brand for each cent the can muster. But is Pixar different?

What are all the new Toys advent out you may ask? Well I want to share a consolidate of them with you for the season. You may have already heard of Webkinz and the new releases they are advent out with and you may know about the Tmx Friends advent this fall but, do you know what Shining Stars By Russ are or transformers action figures for this summers most recent block buster movie?
Well the citizen over at Ganz sure have it down and must have learned from past companies. Producing not nearly adequate Webkinz to go colse to the world in their first consolidate installments created such a buzz and inquire colse to the internet and retail stores that the world was buying and is buying Webkinz online at anyone premium price they can find. Some of the first Webkinz produced like Cheeky Cat and Cheeky Dog are going for hundreds of dollars each and are a rare and hard to find plush. Meanwhile the hype has continued with the release of the next wave a Webkinz Plush such as the the Beagle, Clydesdale, Spotted Frog and in the fall Halloween black cat, Siberian Husky and in the winter the Reindeer. Shortly in February of 2008 the Love Frog will release will will again stimulate the Webkinz market. Ganz has a pretty good plan to keep the hype built and strong.

One of the hottest Toys since last year continues to be the Bakugan Battle Brawlers games. These games involve a magical and mystical world where players operate beasts who do battle to save the planet. The games and Toys are based on the favorite television series which currently airs in the United States on Cartoon Network. As is the case with most Toys, as kids see a cartoon they like to follow, other kids at school begin to get the Toys and soon it’s on many children’s wishlists!
With the Bakugan game, kids can procure dissimilar sphere marbles that are used for gameplay. The way the game is played is by collecting particular stat cards, and rolling these marbles onto a playing surface. There’s special metal gate cards on the game board, and if a sphere marble happens to land on or roll over one, it causes the marble to come to life, almost. The sphere has a spring action to it and a cool toymonster pops up, ready to do battle. As two of these creatures land on the same card, then the two players will face off. The player with the highest point total, based on card stats, will win that battle and takes over the metal Gate card. It involves strategy, precision in rolling marbles, and of course math in adding up scores.
